Since Elena improved so much on her tricycle while on our camping trip last weekend, I decided she was ready for a real bike with training wheels. This time, I decided to be thrifty. I found a $15 bike on Craigslist (the wheels are a bit worn, but the frame is in perfect shape), and we decorated it with new streamers, a basket, and princess stickers. Elena was thrilled!
